Congratulations to Sensei Cedric Rowe and Alondra!
Sensei Rowe took 1st place in kumite and Alondra took second place
in kata in Manteca on January 10th. Unfortunately there was no one
in Alondra's division for kumite, but she was allowed an exhibition
match. Alondra fought very well and won the match decisively.

Students
and
Teachers from Japan Ways competed on Saturday, November 15 in Exeter.
Sempai Cedric Rowe placed second in kumite in the men's Black Belt Division
and also was awarded Sportsman of the Tournament. Sempai Darrin
Nichols won second place in kata and third place in kumite in the men's
Black Belt Division. Alondra won first place in kata and Hunter won
first place in kata and third place in kumite. Congratulations! |

On August 16, 2008 Alondra, Sempai Cedric Rowe and Sempai Ramona
Chavira (not pictured) competed in the Stockton Open Karate
Tournament. Alondra took 1st Place in Kata and 2nd Place in
Kumite! Both Sempai Chivira and Sempai Rowe took Grand
Champion in their Kumite divisions! |
