Dues Increase
Unfortunately, we must adjust the monthly dues to keep pace with our increased overhead costs. We have made as many adjustments as we could and must now change our dues structure. Beginning August 1, 2024, Individual members' dues will be $100/month, Family members will be $175/month. I think you will find that our membership rates are still far below other martial arts school's rates. If you have any concerns, please discuss with any of the instructors, we appreciate your understanding.
Dojo Anniversary
August 11, 2024 marks our 16th year anniversary as Japan Ways. Of course many of you know that our roots come from Way of Japan under Shihan Robert Halliburton. Upon his passing, we continued on as Japan Ways.
Labor Day
The dojo will be closed on September 2, 2024 in observance of Labor Day.
Fumitoshi Kanazawa Seminar:
Fumitoshi Kanazawa Sensei will be teaching here in Fresno on October 05, 2024, Saturday. Sensei's classes are always top notch delivering excellent content. Mark your calendars!

SKI-USF Custom Belts and Gis
SKI-USF will be putting together an order to Japan for SKIF for custom gi/belt orders. Contact Sensei Wong for more info or pricing sheets.
Required Safety Gear
All students must bring mouth guards and kumite hand guards to each class. All males must wear athletic cups. If you do not have the safety gear, you will be asked to sit during kumite drill and training.
Saturday Morning Training
Those interested in early morning training on Saturdays at 8:00 am, contact Sensei Martin for requirements. Regular classes on Saturdays continue at 10:00am and 11:00am.

Passbooks and uniform patches are required for all students testing for rank. Both may be purchased at the front desk in the dojo.
