Classes:

Beginning Basics for Kids:  This class will focus on basic techniques for children from 5 to 10 years old.  This a good place for younger students to begin.

 

Beginning Basics:  This class will focus on basic techniques and is open to all ranks, both kids and adults.  This a good

place for beginners to start but all ranks are encouraged to attend.

 

General Class:  This class will cover material for the ranks of 10th Kyu (white) through 3rd Kyu (first brown) and is open to all ranks, both kids and adults. 

 

Advanced Class:  This class will cover advanced material for 3rd Kyu (first brown) and up.  This class is limited to brown and black belt students.  Lower ranks may attend this class with Sensei's permission.

 

Sparring Class:  This class will cover sparring techniques, strategies, and practice.  It is open to all ages for 8th Kyu (orange) and up.  Note that the sparring class requires mouth guard, cup, and hand, head and foot pads.

 

Weapons Class:  The weapons class is open to all students (all ranks and all ages).  Please bring your own weapon.  Weapons for each class will be posted and will include Bo, Tonfa, Sai, etc.  You can order your weapons at the dojo.

 

Japan Ways observes the following holidays:  New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (and the day following), Christmas Eve & Christmas.
